Grow Vegetables Asexually for the Apocalypse
Most plants and crops can reproduce asexually if the cuttings are placed in the right suitable conditions, doing so you could create more food for yourself in a time of need or an apocalypse. To demonstrate asexually reproduction, I will use green onions in my tutorial. Green onions are one of the quickest plants to reproduce asexually that are edible.
Gather the Supplies
Materials:
. Green onions stalks (Seven recommended)
. Glass cup (Small)
. Warm tap water (Half of the cup 1/2)
Tools:
. Ruler
. Knife
. Cutting board
. A window ledge

Preparation and Setup
Once you have the gather all of the necessary materials, start by cutting off the green stalk of the onion, which is edible and can be used for cooking. Leave about two inches of green stalk above the white part of the stalk. Use a cutting board when cutting the green onions. Keep the white stalk with the roots and put it off to the side for now.
Preparation and Setup
Once the onion stalk's cuts have been made, fill a glass cup 1/2 full with warm tap water. Place the white stalks from the green onions into the water and let them rest against the sides of the glass; play them on a window ledge that has good sunlight. Keep the stalks in the water and every 3-5 days add new water to the cup.mWatch them grow!!!!!
Grow and Harvest
If you want to measure the growth of the green onions, use a ruler to mark the progress. Also this was done in the winter and inside, so I could imagine in warmer temperatures and outdoors the growth rate would increase.

Food for the Apocalypse
Now you can grow food in the apocalypse with little to less space and with next to no work. It would be ideal to grow more than seven green onion plants in an apocalypse to produce more food.
