Grow Incandescent Fruit
Surprise your favorite gardener with this inedible fruit.
I was inspired by the Italian Spaghetti bush announced in the year 1957.

Materials:
1 light bulb
1 rubber band
1 bamboo skewer
1 leafy plant
* You might use more bulbs and rubber bands if you have a bushy plant.
Directions:
Find a plant with enough green leaves to hide the light bulb's screw base. Wrap a rubber band around the light bulb. Slide bamboo stick between the band and the bulb. If the bulb is secure insert the stick in the soil and arrange the leaves to cover the bulb's metal base.
Try smaller light bulbs with wheat grass or cut twigs in a vase.
Happy April Fool's!
