Grooming Comb for Cats

CatComb-Titel.jpg

My cat loves to be cuddled, especially with a comb and surprisingly roughly. It can withstand a few strokes. But an end is always hard to find.

That's why she gets two combs installed in her favourite place.

Supplies

2 combs* with coarse teeth

wooden board

4 or 5 short screws, 2 wall screws with plugs

drill, ruler

* Make sure that the grip area is as large as possible so that we have plenty of space for the screws

Measure

Probably the most difficult part:

We measure the shoulder height of the cat so that the combs can be reached comfortably. The first comb (horizontal) should then be installed approx. 1 cm/ 0.5 in lower. The 2nd comb is mounted vertically underneath on the edge of the board. Marking!

Install Comps

Drill through combs and wood. We need at least two screws for each comb. The drill bit must of course be slightly smaller than the screws.

Fix the Board

Now we can mount the board on the wall, preferably on a corner. Check the height again before doing so!

  • pre-drill the wood
  • mark the drilling points on the wall
  • drill into the wall
  • insert dowels
  • screw the board in place

Hmmm ...rrrrrr
