Greek Mac'n'cheese

A classic meatless recipe is mac'n'cheese. A Greek alternative that I love, is mac'n'cheese with feta!

Supplies

Macaroni
1/4 kg of feta
Olive oil
Pot
Saucepan

Boil the Macaroni

In the first step you bring the macaroni to a boil. This recipe is for two people, so be weary of the ratio of the materials. Typically, macaroni needs around 10 minutes in order to be done.

Ready the Sauce

For this sauce we use freshly grated tomatoes. We use the saucepan for this step, with enough olive oil to thinly cover the bottom. We add the tomato juice in the saucepan and we bring it to a boil.

Add the Feta

When we bring the tomato sauce to a boil, we cut our feta in strips, as shown, and we add it to the saucepan. We let it cook for approximately 10 minutes in low fire, until the feta starts to melt, or become really sort.

Final Product

Finally, we plate the macaroni in a bowl and we pour our tomato and feta sauce over it. And voilĂ !
