Great Homade Pizza

This is a pizza recipe we have perfected after the years and it  tastes great!

What You Need

Ingredients for dough, (on the next step)
Tomato sauce(Recipe on step three)
Garlic butter(step six)
Corn meal
Pizza pans or Stones(For a crispier crust) and pizza paddle(if you are using stones)
assorted dishes

Preheat oven to 450°F
(If using stones put them in the oven.)

Make the Dough

Place the following ingredient in the bread machine

  1 cup warm water
  1 tsp. salt
  2 Tab. olive oil
  2 tsp. yeast
  2 1/2 cup flour

Run on dough setting. Divide in two.
Place in bowls, with small plates on top for better rising.

Make the Sauce

Mix in a small bowl

6oz can tomato paste
8oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp basil*
1 tsp oregano*
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp onion salt

*you can also use Italian seasoning instead of basil and oregano.

Get Ready...

Sprinkle a work space or two pizza pans with corn meal.
Bring out all of your toppings.
Roll and/or toss and shape into 14" circles.
Place on pans( or work space.)

Decorate the Pizza

Spread on the sauce. Sprinkle on some mozzarella cheese.
Add desired toppings. Sprinkle on some more cheese.
(if using stones slide pizza off  of work space onto stones)
else just place the pizza pans into oven.
Bake until bubbly, 15 -20 minutes.

While the pizza is cooking, melt some butter and crush some garlic into it, for garlic butter.
When pizza is done brush garlic butter on the crust. and cut your self some great tasting pizza!
