Grandmas Suzy's Scrumptious Cinnamon Rolls

These delicious cinnamon rolls are easy to make and also tasty.

Get Your Ingredients

2 packages dry yeast
1/2 cup of warp water (105-110 degrees )
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
5 1/2 to 6 cups gold medal flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine soften
1/2 cup sugar
2 Teaspoons balling powder
2 Teaspoons salt

Dissolve Yeast

In a Large Mixer Bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

Time to Add the Ingredients

Add buttermilk, eggs, 2 1/2 cups of flour, the butter, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Time to Blend!

Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly.

Increase Speed

Increase the speed to medium, beat for 2 minutes.

Stir!

Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. (Dough should remain soft and slightly sticky.)

Time to Knead!

Turn dough onto well-floured board; Knead it for 5 minutes or 200 turns.

Shape Dough

Shape dough immediately (No need to let rise) into desired rolls and coffe cakes.

Time to Rise

Cover; let rise in warm place until double, 1 hour. (Dough is ready if impression remains when touched.)

Time to Bake!

Heat oven to 375° bake as directed and bake for 20 minutes.
