Chocolate chip cookies that my grandma would make any time we went over. You could always count on warm cookies and refreshing milk with her!

The Ingredients

Using a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Once mixed together set to the side.

The Rest!

Next, grab a large bowl and put your butter, sugars (granulated and light brown), and vanilla extract in it. Cream together with an electric mixer or large spoon. Once combined add your eggs, one at a time, to your mixture. Make sure to beat well each addition.

Mixing It All Together

Now grab your flour mixture and gradually add it your large bowl. Make sure to add in smaller increments and not all at one time. Now fold your chocolate chips into the batter with a large spoon.

The batter should look like a thick dough when finished and all ingredients should have been combined.

Baking and Cooling Time!

Drop ball shaped dough onto a ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes. Then transfer the cookies to a cooling rack (wired racks) with a spatula so they can cool completely. Once cooled grab some milk and enjoy!

I like to use cookie sheets which line out where to place your cookie dough. They make it easier to take the cookies off too! You can find these at you local grocery store.
