Grain and Powder Dispenser

This innovative Grain and Powder Dispenser is a DIY project designed to automatically dispense grains or powdered substances with precision and ease. Utilizing an Arduino, a servo motor, a rumbler motor, and a simple button control mechanism, the system provides an efficient way to release a consistent amount of material when needed.
At the heart of this device is the Arduino, which acts as the controller, orchestrating the operation of the servo motor and rumbler motor. The servo motor is used to control the dispensing mechanism, opening or closing the valve to regulate the flow of grains or powder. The rumbler motor helps to agitate or shake the material, ensuring an even and consistent flow as it is dispensed.
A single button is integrated into the design, offering a simple and intuitive user interface. Pressing the button triggers the dispensing cycle, activating the motors to release the material, making it perfect for applications like feeding systems, hobby projects, or even small-scale production processes.
The entire setup is housed within a durable Styrofoam casing, providing structural support and stability while keeping the design lightweight and easy to handle.
This Grain and Powder Dispenser combines simplicity with functionality, offering a reliable and versatile solution for controlled dispensing of various materials.
Supplies
- Styrofoam
- Servo
- Rumbler motor/Vibrating motor
- Button
- Arduino
- Hot glue gun
- Nife or something sharp
- Ruler
- Pencil or pen

- First you need to cut out the shapes.
- Note you can make any shape or form or size you would like.
- It would make it easier if you were to cut one shape out and then trace it so you can cut another out.
- Try to make all the shapes precise because if you don't it could lead to spills for example flour.

- Hot glue the two side pieces on to the body.
- Try to make this as precise as possible as if you don't it could lead to gaps and make it look bad but you could always sand down the corners if you would like to.

- Hot glue the cover onto the two side pieces to complete the body.
- This would be the comportment that holds the grain or what ever powder you would like.
- Try to make this as precise as possible as if you don't it could lead to gaps and make it look bad or lead to spills but you could always sand down the corners if you would like to.

- Hot glue the tip onto the bottom of the body.
- Try to make this as tight of a fit as possible as if you don't it could lead to little crevasses the could lead to spills.
- I would also mark the Center of it.

- Now you should make a hole in the middle to be able to dispense you power.
- Note you may need to make the hole bigger or smaller depending on the powder or grain you're planning on dispensing.
- You could always change the size.

- Now you would hot glue the lid of the dispenser onto a servo motor.
- Make sure you don't get any hot glue onto the gears of the servo or it could lead to it getting stuck.

- Hot glue the servo onto the bottom of the body as this would seal or unseal the dispenser.
- Make sure this is as tight as possible or it will just spill out but not too tight or I will get stuck.
- Make sure it's lined up with the hole you made.

- Now hot glue the rumbler motor onto the body as this will help the powder flow down without getting stuck or clogged.
- You may want to glue it as close to the bottom as possible to me as efficient as possible.

- Now hot glue the 4 smaller base pieces onto the back of the body as this will make it so that it doesn't run into the motor or servo.
- Make sure you hot glue this part well as if you don't it could break and fall.

- Now glue the 4 long base pieces to the smaller ones you may want to glue them side ways as this will make it stronger.
- Make sure you hot glue this part well as if you don't it could break and fall.

- Now hot glue the 2 base legs onto the base as this will make it so that it doesn't wall forward or backwards.
- Make sure you hot glue this part well as if you don't it could break and fall.

- Now hot glue the side to side base piec to the back of the base as this will make it so it doesn't fall to the side.
- Make sure you hot glue this part well as if you don't it could break and fall.

- Now do the wiring for the servo, motor and button.
- make sure the connections are strong.

- Last but not least do the coding the file will be attached for Arduino IDE.
- You may need the servo library installed.
