Preval's Maker Minute: DIY Book Ends

First, primer paint the elephants.

While they dry, cut your block of balsa wood in two, and use sandpaper to smooth any rough edges.

Once the primed elephants are dry, it’s time to prep the Preval Sprayer.

Add 1.5 oz of paint and 1 oz. of water. Cap, shake and attach the spray can.

Do a test spray, and coat the wooden blocks. Next, sweep the paint across the elephants, making sure to cover all angles. For best results, let the paint dry between coats. If you use primer, it should take just about two to finish the job.

Finishing Touches

Finally, apply super glue to the elephant’s feet and attach them to the dried wooden blocks. When you’re done. tame your bookshelf clutter with these wildly chic book ends.
