Gluten Free Protein Cookies
A delicious and easy to bake treat in just 20 minutes!!!
Ingredients
For this recipe you will need six large dates, one large egg, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1/4 cup of chocolate chips,1/8 tsp of sea salt, 1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract, 1 cup of almonds and 1/4 cup of chocolate protein powder.
Soften Dates
Soften your dates in a cup or bowl of warm water.(While you are doing these steps preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.)
Take the Pits Out of the Dates
Simply take the pits out of the dates and you will be ready for step 4.
Add Your Dates and Almonds to Your Food Processor
Blend
Blend your dates and almonds until it gets to a crumbly consistency.
Add Your Sea Salt, Baking Soda and Chocolate Protein Powder and Mix
Your batter will now still be a grainy consistency.
Add Your Egg and Vanilla
Mix and your batter will now become a clumpy consistency.
Add Your Chocolate Chips and Mix
Scoop Batter Onto Pan
Scoop 1 inch balls of batter onto your baking pan.
Flatten
Cookies do not expand.
BAKE!!!!!!!!
Put you batter in the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit and bake for ten minutes.
