Gluten Free Caramel Ganache Bars!

Hi Instructables friends! I'm Natalie from Doodlecraft--I love sharing crafts, DIY's and simple recipes!

These caramel ganache bars are amazing! Super rich and are GLUTEN FREE, you won't even be able to tell. I made these for a big party with some friends that are gluten-free. They were a big hit for everyone, regardless of dietary needs. (Not great for a diet in general though.)

Let's get started!

Layer 1: Crust

Crust:

1 1/2 cup Graham Cracker crumbs (1 8 oz. package of gluten free graham crackers crushed in food processor)

5 tablespoons butter melted

1/3 cup sugar

Mix ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9 inch square baking dish. Use a glass to press the crumbs down firmly.

Layer 2: Caramel

Caramel:

3/4 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of butter

1/4 cup of Heavy cream

Melt the butter and sugar in a saucepan until it bubbles. Then stir while boiling for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream. Let the caramel cool for 15 minutes.

Then pour into crust and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Layer 3: Ganache

Chocolate Ganache:

1 (12 oz) package of semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup of Heavy Cream

Place 1 package chocolate in a bowl. Pour one cup of heavy cream into saucepan and heat until bubbles form around the edges. Then pour the cream into the bowl of chocolate. Let it stand for 5 minutes, then mix until smooth. Pour on top of the caramel. Place in the refrigerator a couple hours or overnight.

Enjoy!

Cut into tiny squares and serve. Super rich! I cut these ones pictured into 4 pieces to serve. They are so yummy and decadent! Great for a wonderful Gluten Free treat that doesn't taste like you are cutting out anything!
