Gluten-Free Banana Bread

Many people with gluten-intolerances feel that they are missing out on the simple snacks and treats that the rest of the population can enjoy. Well, that doesn't have to be the case. There are so many recipes that can be slightly altered and ingredients that can be swapped to ensure that you can gain access to all baked-goods.

One such recipe is this delicious gluten-free banana bread. It is quick and easy to make, can be altered to your taste and most importantly, it's gluten-free! You have to give it a try!

Collect Ingredients

1 cup Gluten-Free Plain Flour

2 Ripe Bananas

1/4 cup White Sugar

1/4 cup Butter

1 Egg

1 tbsp Milk

1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/8 tsp Salt

Place the butter and sugar into a large bowl.

Cream using a wooden spoon.

Add the egg, milk and vanilla essence to the bowl.

Mix well to incorporate.

Collect your bananas and break them into a small bowl.

Mash the bananas well using a fork.

Add the bananas to the large bowl.

Mix well to incorporate.

Add the gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Mix well to incorporate.

Pour batter into a loaf-pan lined with baking paper.

Place it in the oven for 45 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.

Once cooked through, remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
