Glitter Clip

  1. Glitter
  2. White glue (PVA)
  3. A clip
  4. An old paintbrush
  5. A tray (I like to use a tray to keep the glitter in, and to catch extra glitter as it falls)

Take Your Clip Out

You only need to do this if your clip does come out, and you don't have to if you don't want to. It's just to make sure the silver inner clip doesn't stick to the outer clip.

Adding Glue

Squirt a thin layer of glue over the top of the clip. Make sure there isn't too much so it doesn't drip over the side.

Glitter

Lightly sprinkle glitter over the glue, and make sure it covers the whole surface. I like to use a brush to brush the glitter out of the tray.

Securing

Once the glue has dried, lightly coat another layer of glue over the top. (I think clear nail varnish might work, but I've never tried.) Don't put too much, or else the glitter won't show, and ugly white lumps of glue might form.

Slip the Clip Back In

After the glue has dried, start by slipping the wider side of the inner clip in, then the thinner bit.
