I can't wait to ring in 2017 and say goodbye to 2016. I know a lot of people are saying it, but 2016 was rough. I'm excited for a much needed fresh start.

With New Years this weekend we have a quick and simple craft you can do to add an extra bit of glitter to your New Years eve party. So grab your champagne bottle, some glitter, and some glue and keep reading to find out how to make these awesome glitter champagne bottles for New Years!

Supplies

Prepping Your Champagne Bottle

Start by clearing off the label on your champagne bottle and making sure there isn't any sticky residue left over (use goo-gone!). Next take your vinyl numbers and spell out 2017 going down your bottle.

Add Glue

Take your Mod Podge and glue all around the 2017 stickers, making sure not to glue right over them as this well make taking them off harder. Get a nice thick layer of glue over the whole bottle.

Add Glitter

Take your glitter and pour it onto your bottle. This is going to get EVERYWHERE so make sure you have newspaper or something down to catch all the extra glitter.

Cover your whole bottle and let dry for about an hour.

Take Off Your Letters

Gently peel off the vinyl stickers, trying not to get any glitter around it. I used an exacto knife to gently pry underneath the letter and sort of trim around it.

Enjoy!

Pop open your bottle of champagne at midnight and enjoy the new year!
