So if you got sick or got a cold the last 12 months, you're not alone. It's common, as these viral infections can spread easily. To combat these, we would go to get medicine over the counter, but you could make your own treatment! Yes, it tastes good too!

What you need:

•Half a slice of lemon

•Two Pieces of Ginger

•6 Teaspoons of Honey, or if giving to an infant under 12 months, give 4 teaspoons of Sugar

•One Cup of Boiled Water

Tools and Accessories:

•Cup

•Water Boiler

Boil the Water, Gather Accessories and Chop Up Fruits

Boil water (be careful though!) and chop the ginger into very little pieces, but not little. Squeeze the lemon into the cup and add a slice of you want to, then last pour the honey.

Mix the Ingredients With the Boiling Water

Make sure the water is boiling, not warm, it won't get any flavor and won't treat the cold/flu if it's warm.

Wait

You should for 30 minutes in room temperature, so it can be warm enough, or put it in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Modify the Taste

The tea should be 60% sour, 30% spicy, and 10% sweet. If you want to change this you can

If the tea is too sour: Put more honey, or water

If the tea is too spicy: Put more water

If the tea is too sweet: Put more lemon

Drink Up!

Well, not drink up, but take 2 teaspoons. Your throat should soothe, and you cough less. Take more if you need to.

Store!

Put this in the fridge, it will last 2-3 weeks. The flavor will go out though, so make sure to consume fast.

So What Makes This Tea So Special?
