Ginger Green Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is a great mid morning pick me up! It is my favorite way to eat spinach. It will keep for several days jared up in your fridge. This recipe will make around 40 oz, perfect for two lunches or 4 snacks!

Ginger Green Smoothie

Makes:

2 large 20 oz servings or 4 small 10 oz servings

Gather all the ingredients and don't forget to wash your Spinach!

Tools: High speed blender

Ingredients:

coconut water: 16 oz

frozen pineapple: 1 & 1/2 cups

frozen mango: 3 cups

fresh spinach: two big handfuls

fresh ginger: one thumb sized peice

hemp protein powder: 6 tablespoons

Mix the Fruit

Put the first wave of ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

coconut water: 16 oz

frozen mango: 3 cups

frozen pineapple: 1 & 1/2 cups

ginger: one thumb sized piece

Add the Green!

Now add the remaining ingredients:

hemp protean powder: 6 tablespoons

fresh spinach (washed) : two big handfuls

Blend again until everything is smooth.

Note: you may need to add the spinach a little bit at a time, depending on the strength of your blender.

Pour and Enjoy!

Pour out your beautify smoothie and enjoy! This is a great way too get kids or adults to eat their spinach.

I usually make two batches and drink them over several days.

It can be fun to try different fruits and protein sources or try a thumb sized bit of turmeric root for an immunity boost!
