Gigant Origami Thunder.

This is a traditional origami model known as the thunder, to this project, we will make it huge, because it generates a hell of noise. (Photo 1)

To make this gigant noisy thing, we will only need 16 sheets of letter paper and glue, also you will need a ruler and a pencil as auxiliary tools. (Photo 2)

We have to make a gigant sheet with our 16 sheets, in order to do this, we have to glue the sheets in a 4x4 matrix.
First, mark a half centimeter margin on each side of the sheets like in the photo.

Take 4 sheets and place them vertically. (Photo 1)

Using the margins we made as a reference, put a thin layer of glue on the margin. (Photo 2)

And put a second sheet that matches the glued margin. (Photo 3)

Repeat two more times until we have our 4 sheets glued in a large paper strip. (Photo 4)

Repeat this process three times until we have 4 strips of paper. (Photo 5)

Now having the strips arranged in the way indicated in photo 5, glue the strips respecting the margin.

The result has to be a 110cm x 84cm sheet. (Photo 6)

You can add more sheets to the matrix (5x5, 6x6, 7x7) but this size is good for now.

Let the sheet dry completely before doing the next step.

We have to make the following folds on the giant sheet, I will demonstrate it on a letter size sheet.

First we divide the sheet into four. (Photo 1)

We fold the corners inward. (Photo 2)

We fold in half. (Photo 3)

We fold the tips up and down forward. (Photo 4 and 5)

Now we fold the shape back. (Photo 6 and 7)

These corners, the ones marked with asterisks, is where we will take our thunder (Photo 8)

And the figure is complete, lets shake it.

This now if it is with the giant leaf. (Photo 1)

We will take it from those ends together and shake it with great force. (Video)

We have to fold it back to its original shape to use it again.

After a few uses mine broke, we can fix it with tape and reuse it. (Photo 2)
