Happy summer day!

Now, I will tell you a recipe. It is gepuk. Gepuk is a traditional food from Indonesia. The taste is sweet. It's good to eat anytime. Summer or winter, it doesn't matter!

So, here we go!

You Need

500 gr beef

10 pcs onion

6 pcs garlic

5 pcs walnut

1 tablespoon coriander

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 glass (+- 200 ml) coconut milk

1/2 teaspoon tamarind

30gr brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon sugar

3 cm galangale

2 pcs lemongrass

2 pcs bayleaf

8 pcs lime leaf

Vegetable oil

Water

Wash the meat.
Slice it widely.

Boil water.

Put galangale, lemongrasses, and bayleaves into the pan.

Put the meat into the pan.

(Throw away the bubbles)

Wait until tender.

Turn off the stove.

Grind and Stir Fry

Grind peppers, walnuts, corianders, onions, and garlics.
Stir-fry it. Put lime leaves and bay leaves to the frying pan.

Pour the coconut milk into the frying pan

Pour the water of boiled meat into the frying pan too.

Add the tamarind, sugar, brown sugar, and salt into the pan.

Cook it until the water absorbs into the meat.
