Geometry Set Box Survival Kit

In this instructable I will show you how to make a survival kit.

Although you can technically use any small container, an altoids tin or geometry set box (more space) work the best. You could also use a large pill bottle which would make your kit waterproof. In this case I am using a geometry set box because that’s all I had on hand.

Line the inside of the kit with 1 layer of duct tape. If you like you could put something like fishing hooks or bills or a credit card underneath.

Gather the following things: duct tape, matches and/or lighter, x-acto knife or utility knife blade with sheath, mini led light (optional not pictured), aluminum foil, whistle, fishing line (8 or 10 lb test), multiple sizes of fishing hooks, fishing weights/sinkers (optional), fishing bait/lures (optional) (pieces of twizzlers work for some fish), house key (optional), small button compass, bandaid x3 or 4, dryer lint or other fire starter, birthday candle or 2, laser pointer (optional)

Also make a sheath for the knife.

Start filling up your geometry set box. Put the knife in a sheath! Put the hooks, sinkers, and bait/lures in a small ziplock bag.

You have finished making your survival kit! You might want to wrap it in paracord or use rubber bands to keep it shut though. Let me know what you thought or if you have any ideas for modifications in the comments below.
