This Instructable shows you how to make a fun and eye-catching statement ring using a geode, ring blank, glue, and paint. Really fun and really easy to do. Great addition to your collection if you're into boho-style pieces. This piece would have looked amazing in gold, but I couldn't find gold color ring blanks.

I decided to put the ring on a piece of rolled up paper towel so it would sit upright while the glue dries. I put a good amount of E6000 epoxy on the ring blank and then set the geode on top and let it set for about an hour.

Full epoxy curing takes 24-72 hours. I just wanted the glue dry enough so that I could add the enamel paint without the geode sliding around. Carefully I painted around the base of the geode and also on the glue.
