Garlic Butter/Pan Seared Steak, Oven Finished
This is a delicious meal that is simple and easy! Hearty, quick, and filling. This will be a meal that will be used time after time.
Supplies
- 2 New York strip steaks 1lb each
- 5 Ts of unsalted Butter
- 2 Ts of Worchester sauce
- 1 Ts of olive oil
- 2 ts of rosemary
- 2 ts salt
- 1 ts of minced garlic
- 2 ts of pepper
- Cast Iron pan
Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies. Next, get your cast iron pan ready. Apply 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and set to medium-high heat.
Seasoning Time
Apply the seasoning selected evenly on both sides of each steak.
Heat Butter
In the hot pan add 3 tablespoons of butter. Slowly stir until butter is melted.
Sear Steaks!
Pre - Heat your oven to 400 degrees. In the hot pan add the two steaks. As well add another two tablespoons of butter, one teaspoon of minced garlic, and two tablespoons of Worchester sauce. With a spoon scoop melted butter over the steaks while they sear throughout the cooking process. After five minutes flip steaks and continue to baste for another five minutes.
Oven Finish
Once finished searing. Move the hot pan to the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes. Or until there is a pink center.

Now that your steak is finished rest for five to ten minutes then enjoy.
