GUT CLEANSING PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

I will be showing the steps needed in order to create my self made smoothie. This drink gives your body everything it needs, and can cleanse your stomach harmlessly. Personally, I drink one glass before and after the gym. It helps with muscle soreness, lack of energy, and lack of natural vitamins.This smoothie is best for athletes, those that need a meal replacement, or for people looking for a way to include proteins, fiber, and natural sugar into their diet, while making it delicious!

Supplies

Ice
Banana
Strawberries
Egg
Whey protein powder
Pre effect xt (pre workout)
Honey
Oats
Chia seeds
Hemp seeds
Almond milk
Caramel

Add Ice

Secure your blender and make sure everything is set up properly. Now you can add ice. The amount of ice is dependent on you. I use a cup full of ice, so the smoothie is not too thick in texture, but also cool. Too much can also take away some flavours, which is something you should keep in mind!

Add Banana

Chop up a banana, and put inside blender. A banana has natural protein and natural sugars, is rich in nutrients, improves blood sugar levels, supports digestive health, helps with weight loss, has antioxidants, and can make you feel fuller. This ingredient plays a huge role of the taste and health benefits.

Add Strawberries

Cut off the green stems of the strawberries, and place in as many as you want. Make sure to wash them before hand. I prefer 4-6 strawberries. They have a natural sweetness along with many health benefits. It's packed with antioxidants, and can help prevent cancer. This ingredient is to promote heart health.

Add a Raw Egg

Crack one raw egg open into your blender. Don’t worry if the shell gets inside because it has calcium, that's also very beneficial. The egg plays a role in growing muscles, because it has very high quality protein, and aids in healthy bones. It's also high in vitamins B6, D, E and K.

Add Your Favorite Protein Powder

Add a scoop of protein powder. The one shown above is "WheySmooth", by "Dot Fit", in flavor " Vanilla creme". The flavor of your protein powder can play a big role in how your smoothie will taste. I recommend vanilla or unflavored. This will be the key ingredient that will help with muscle soreness and recovery. In one serving it has 200 mg Calcium, and 224 mg Potassium.

Add a Pre-workout

Add a bit of your pre workout. I add a little less then one scoop, but the serving depends on which one you use. The one pictured above is "Pre Effect XT", by "Bodytech", in flavor "Strawberry". This is the key ingredient for energy and endurance. This is my secret to having energy before and after I workout. This can be taken separately with water, if you have a flavor that's something other then strawberry or banana.

Add Honey

Add one spoon full of honey. This will make the smoothie taste sweeter, and will help everything stick together. It's also the perfect replacement for sugar, however it's more nutritious.

Add Oats

Add one spoon full of oats. This will give the fibers and extra protein your body needs. Additionally, it promotes healthy bacteria for your gut.

Add Hemp Seeds

Add one spoon full of hemp seeds. These seeds are very healthy and provide many health benefits. Not only does it have protein and fiber, but it's full with Omega-3s Omega-6s, Vitamin E, Minerals, and healthful fatty acids. This benefits your heart, skin and joints. It helps to replace what you have bad, to good.

Add Chia Seeds

Add one spoon full of chia seeds. This will give your smoothie a good and fun texture. Keep in mind that they're very small and won't blend all they way. It also has amazing health benefits. It contains minerals, antioxidants, and can promote weight loss. These seeds help to clean your guts and promote what you need in your body.

Add Almond Milk

Add one cup of almond milk into blender. This is the last ingredient. Almond milk has a sweeter taste then regular milk, and contains less fat, and is high in calcium, Vitamin E and Vitamin D.

Blend Everything Together

Now you can take the blender, adjust it, and close your lid. Blend until it looks smooth, and bubbly on the top.

Add Caramel to Your Cup

Grab a cup that you will be drinking from, and pour caramel on all corners. This will be that sweet treat ingredient in your drink.
