Future of Forklifts

When the future of our global supply chain is brought up in today's world, the concept of its speed is a common dislike. This can be caused by a multitude of issues, and one of these handicaps could be the forklifts in the warehouses. The efficiency of these machines can be questioned. The capabilities of these machines can be hindered the shape of these machines. I am Ryan Mestemaker, I go to St. Henry High School, and this is an model of how I envision the future of forklifts.

Functionality

Forklift design.JPG

This module functions by having two standard masts instead of one. The masts are connected to a center rotational mechanism that rotates 90 degrees so that one mast is always forward, and one is always to its respective side.

Components

The overall part is made from the center mechanism, then two masts.

Workings

The masts would be able to raise and lower independently, and the center would rotate to the left or right 90 degrees, and also rotate slowly to assure the security of the pallets loaded on the forks.

Thank You!
