Funko Pop Yourself Ai Design Image: How to Do It in Three Ways
I've used the actual Funko "Pop Yourself" website to make a real doll purchase (still to be delivered), and previously I created a personal version of the pages with Microsoft Designer. With last year's images, I've created holiday cards for 2024 (& 2025 for those who have not yet seen them.)
In this tutorial, I also compare results with ChatGPT's version of these images.

Printing Resources:
Ai Programs:
- ChatGPT
- Microsoft Designer
- Funko Pop! Yourself (real dolls to be purchased as well)
ChatGPT Form Version
I asked ChatGPT to make this template for us. Keep in mind that multiple images are only necessary if you happen to have them ready and one image is enough for each person or for a couple if the image already includes all details needed). For those who have not done this before, after filling out the information and signing up for the first time, it will take anywhere from 1-5 minutes for an image to be created depending on how many other people are asking for the server to create images at that time. It is also a free service for a limited number of requests per day.

Prompt to use with ChatGPT:
Create Funko Pop!–style figures based on the following details. Render them in the classic vinyl toy style with oversized heads, solid black Funko eyes, and simplified cartoonish proportions. Addendum:
I just tried this out with my own changes to the form, and was really surprised! That UV effect actually worked out for me, I think and I was surprised how well it understood all of my directions. I love the fact that we can just barely see the bird on my shoulder and that the cat is also just barely there. There's a funny thing that happens with the title of the box being on the opposite sides of where we are under the names, but I don't mind it at all because everything is actually spelled correctly and makes sense.
Microsoft Designer Template
This form was found from this Digital Trends article
As the article notes, while these Ai images are not going to be available to print from Funko, it's fun and nice to see details that you might want in the dolls including subtle facial details and other identifying ideas that you will have that the actual dolls won't make available.
I was able to create mine last year and have the prints from a Groupon deal in a relatively short time to be able to send these as a holiday card with my favorite stickers from the 80s, something I used to do when I was a penpal back in the day.
You can also make changes in the template itself if it doesn't share the kinds of options you're in need of. (Look at the end of the prompt where it says "Edit Prompt" with the pencil icon button.
---
You can alter the prompt sometimes at the cost of the words being misspelled or other problems depending on the choices. I've attached some of the best results from my latest tests.
I will often choose to make other alterations in a program like Canva or Adobe Express when it comes to small details that are almost right.
Funko Pop! Yourself
What is nice about this is that you don't need to worry about the environmental cost of making an Ai program to create your design in addition to knowing that it's also possible to purchase this.
I recommend that you sign in before you start working on this if you want your changes saved. Also be ready with knowing how to screen capture or maybe better yet, video capture if you want the 3D turn around of the finished creations.
The other thing that is very nice about this is the option to make more than one doll together in one package. The cost may be higher but if you are a couple, this is a nice way to make announcements or holiday cards. Keep in mind your final product doesn't have to be the dolls but simply the images or videos you get from working out your customization.
If the dolls don't have the accessories you want or need, you can always make the changes in an image program if your final output is going to be an image anyway.

I will try to remember to check back in when I receive the dolls in case anyone was curious how they came out.
