Funeral Potatoes

Funeral potatoes are a great family recipe that are not only amazing when first made, but can be stored and eaten a later time. They can also be used in a variety of other recipes!

Ingredients and Supplies

Supplies:

  1. 9x13 casserole dish
  2. Something to mix with

Ingredients:

  1. 30 ounces of frozen hash browns
  2. 2 cups grated cheese
  3. 16 ounces sour cream
  4. 10.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
  5. 1 bunch green onions
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. *Optional* Crushed potato chips to top

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F

Mix Ingredients

Mix all the ingredients in the casserole dish.

I recommend mixing the frozen hash browns in last.

Smooth out the dish in the pan.

*Optional*: top with crushed potato chips. This gives it a nice texture after it's baked.

Bake

Bake the funeral potatoes for 40 minutes at 350˚F.

Remove and let cool a bit.
