  1. Grab one piece of felt for the clock face.
  2. Place bowl upside down on felt and trace with a sharpie.
  3. Cut out the circle.
  4. Using a ruler, measure 2.5 inches from top to bottom and 2.5 inches from side to side. Place a dot at the point where these two lines meet. This will be the center of your clock and where the brad attaches.

Number the Clock

  1. Using a stencil, write the number 12 at the top of the clock.
  2. On the rightmost side, use a stencil to write a number 3.
  3. On the bottom of the clock, stencil in a 6.
  4. On the leftmost side, stencil in the number 9.
  5. Fill out the rest of the numbers around the clock.

  1. Using a new piece of felt, draw a fish face and cut out the piece.
  2. Using another new piece of felt, draw an approximation of a tail.
  3. Use the scraps from the face piece to make fins for the tail.

Make and Add the Clock Hands

  1. Using a leftover piece of felt, draw two clock hands. The hour hand should be about 2.5 inches tall. The minute hand should be about two inches tall.
  2. Cut out the clock hands.
  3. Using the fabric scissors, cut a small hole in the center of the clock, where a dot was marked earlier.
  4. Stack the two clock hands on top of each other. Using the scissors, cut a small hole in the bottom of the hands.
  5. Push the brad through the two clock hands and into the center of the clock.
  6. Flip the clock over and tighten the brad. This will hold the hands in place.

Assemble the Clock

  1. Flip the clock face over so that the brad is showing.
  2. Hot glue around the edges of the clock.
  3. Glue the clock face to the last piece of felt, which has not been cut. This will hide the brad.
  4. While the clock is back side up, glue on the fish face and the fish tail.
  5. Flip the clock over and glue the fin pieces to the tail. If there is a piece of tail showing through the fins, cut it out with the fabric scissors.
