Fudge Wafer

One of the oldest recipes that I know. The best is that it's also easy. Although it isn't fully child-resistant, but with parents help should be good for cooking beginners. Following advantage is that will work at parties too.

Preparing time is also excellent - 20-40 min (depend on diligence and proficiency).

It isn't good costs presentations, but I spend cir. 17 PLN ~ 4,60 USD.

Supplies

Food products

  • Wafer
  • Fudge (also known as dulce de leche)
  • glaze:
    • chocolate bar
    • cream(30%) // 30% fat in cream
  • decoration:
    • stoned cherries(from liqueur or not)

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Tablespoon
  • sth to spread fudge on wafer
  • small pan/pot
  • range

Spreading

Gently spread your wafer with fudge to not break it.

Assembly

Again gently... assemble spreaded wafers to towers height depend on your creativity.

Glaze

Glaze is melted chocolate with cream.

At medium fire carefully melt one bar of chocolate plus 3,5 tbsp of cream.

When chocolate is melted and it have smooth texture it's time to glaze our wafers.

Decorate your glazed wafers with everything you want, here I used cherries.
