A little fruit bowl for a party

Preparation of the Fruit

Cut up a whole cantelope and honeydew melon. First cut them in half. Then spoon out all of the seeds. Then cut up each half into four even slices. Now cut the peel off. Cut the melon in chunks.

Arrange the Rhine Petals

This step is best done an hour before presentation. Clean outer with water first. Now arrange with peel to the center. I chose to use both peel and to alternate.

Adding Fruit

With the first fruit, line the bowl halfway up. Try to keep fruit to the outside. Add the inner fruit at the same time. This will keep the peel in and your color will resemble this pattern.
