Frozen Yogurt Shop
Hello, my name is Caleb Singh, and I am going to be a senior at Tualatin High School. For my Make It Modular project, i decided to design and 3d print a frozen yogurt shop. I used Tinkercad to edit the shipping container and add more components to it.
Supplies
- Shipping Container
- Three Signs
- One Window
- Two tables for inside, one big and one small
- An outside table with chairs
- Dispensers and toppings for Frozen Yogurt
- Solar Panels to add sustainability through renewable energy
Basic Design
The shipping container will have an order window at one end and a pick-up window on the side along with a glass window in between. Along with this, there will be a frozen yogurt image/sign on the blank wall as decoration and to advertise the shop.
Inside the Shop
Inside the shop, there will be a row of dispensers for various frozen yogurt flavors along with a selection of toppings.
Outdoor Seating
The shipping container will also have some seating for anyone wanting to eat at the shop.
Solar Panels
Finally, the shop will have solar panels to allow it to be placed somewhere where it could be hard to find a power outlet. Along with this, solar panels will reduce the cost and will keep the shop more sustainable.
3d Printing
On top of a model on a computer, a 3d model can help visualize a final design. In this case, i used 3d printing as it is a simple and quick way of accurately making a 3d model real.
Hot Gluing
After 3d printing the parts, I utilized a hot glue gun to combine all the parts into the final model.
Conclusion
Overall, the frozen yogurt shops design is simple and allows someone to easily start up a business, while maintaining a nice aesthetic to attract customers.
