Put a small surprise toy inside a balloon. Then fill up water balloon with water until desired size is reached (not too big not too small). Tie the balloon and put in in the freezer over night. The next day take out the balloons and rip apart the balloon leaving the big ball of ice. Put it on a tray. Then pour salt all over, we focused on the top only. Wait a few minutes then start dropping a few drops of food coloring. The salt builds craters and channels in which the food coloring runs through. Try different colors! Finally for the toy surprise pour warm water over the ball revealing the toy surprise inside.
