Materials:

  • 3 round cake pans
  • Blender Whisk (for mixing icing)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Cutting Knife

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Powde
  • r ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ½ Cups Suga
  • r 12 ounce package of Strawberry Jello Mix (Qty:1)
  • 2 Cups Water
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • Fresh Strawberries Powdered Sugar

Let's Get Started

Preheat the oven to 325℉ and gather ingredients.

Mix Mix Mix

Take your 12 ounce pack of strawberry jello and mix contents in with your 2 cups of water. Mix until the contents have completely dissolved.

Add the strawberry jello and water mix into the bowl. Add 3 large eggs. Now blend some more.

Basically make sure none of the ingredients are visible. Also there should be very little to no lumps in the mixture.

Time for Berries

Grab your strawberries (about 1 cup) and add strawberries to the cake mixture. You can use a spoon to stir these in.

Try to get strawberries as small as small as the size of a nickel coin. Shape does not matter. Results in cake pans in step 7.

Prep Cake Pans

20190331_211107_Original.jpg

Go to your 3 round cake pans and grab your shortening and spread enough throughout the entire (inside) pan, then grab about a handful of flour and distribute evenly throughout the round cake pans.

You should rotate the flour in each pan, and use the same flour in each pan as well. You do not want to have too much flour in pans (so pat the corners on the outside very well) because the flour will stay on the cake and it will be hard to get off (probably will not come off.)

Almost Time to Bake

Distribute the cake mix into the cake pans evenly. Be careful not to put too much or the cakes may possibly rise too high.

Bake Time!

Place cake pans with cake mix in the oven, for about 30 to 45 minutes.

Time to Make Icing

Grab your cream cheese and powdered sugar, to start making cream cheese icing. The cream cheese should have been kept out at room temperature so that it can be hand mixed easily with a fork and/or whisk.

Mix until powdered sugar is no longer visible. There may be a few little lumps.

Baking Done!

Take cakes out of the oven and place them somewhere, like the top of the stove.

Take cakes out of pans one by one once they are cool enough.

Stacking and Icing

20190401_075615_Original.jpg

Spread icing evenly on top of each cake, and stack the next two layers on top of the first one. The icing should be in between the layers by now with a nice amount on top in order to start spreading the icing over the entire cake. Start applying icing more until fully covered, or to your satisfaction.
