I'm using a very simple waffle maker that you just have to plug in and wait about 3 to 4 minutes to heat up.  Follow your directions on what ever style of waffle maker you may own for cook time and heating up time. I do add a little bit of butter to the iron just to make sure nothing will stick.

Take your slice of bread and add it to the waffle maker - close down and wait for it to cook. It took about 3 minutes for mine to completely cook.

Now repeat with the other slice - you can't just have only one slice.
