French Vanilla Iced Coffee

When Chick-fil-A began serving vanilla iced coffees, I got hooked. So I tried experimenting at home, and came up with this copy-cat recipe. Super easy and terrifically scrumptious!

What You Need

These are the ingredients you will need:

-ice

-coffee

-French vanilla coffee creamer (or flavor of your choice)

You will also need:

-a cup

-a straw

Making the Coffee

To start, you need to brew a cup of coffee and let it cool. It doesn't have to be completely cool, but mostly. The easiest way to do this is brew it the night before and let it sit in the fridge overnight.

Measuring the Ice

Now that the coffee is cool, you can begin preparing your vanilla iced coffee!

First, put ice in your cup. The amount of ice you use depends on what size cup you're using. The general rule is to fill the cup with ice, leaving about an inch of space under the top edge.

Pour the Coffee

Next, pour your cooled coffee over the ice - leaving about an inch of empty space under the top edge of the cup.

Try not to make a mess like I did. ;-)

Add Vanilla Creamer

Now add in the French Vanilla creamer (or any flavored creamer of your choice). Pour in until the cup is filled.

The Straw

Carefully stick your straw into the cup.

The Finishing Touch

Stir and enjoy your French vanilla iced coffee! :)
