Hey momoluvers! It's Momo and today I thought I'd whip up a yummy breakfast treat for y'all. Mug cakes can get a bad reputation for being slimy and disgusting. But this French toast is a quick meal you can make under 20 minutes that is actually very good.
I have been testing different recipes for mug meals for about a year now and I can honestly say this is a great recipe. This is another 100% Momo original, although the actual idea for French toast is not mine.
Ingredients
![IMG_2174.JPG](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FMW/2BJY/ILFFYG4I/FMW2BJYILFFYG4I.jpg&filename=IMG_2174.JPG)
Melted butter or spray
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 small eggs
1/4 cup milk (I'm using 2% reduced fat)
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 slices of bread (I'm using organic white)
Confectioners sugar and syrup
Prep

Bread!

Slice the bread into smaller cubes and split the lot into four groups. Put 1/4 of the bread cubes into one mug,1/4 into the second mug, and so on.
Put It All Together

Slowly and evenly pour the liquid mixture into the mugs, dividing the batter up so that there will be enough for each mug.
Cook It
Microwave two mugs at a time for about 1 1/2 minutes. The bread will expand in the mug so keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't overflow.
Cool Down

After fully cooked, set it out to cool for 5 minutes. Add powdered sugar and syrup and serve with some milk!
Fini!
