Freddy Fazbear Animatronic
In 2017, A man with the name of Scott Cawthon did something that would change the horror genre forever. But before I get into that, before Scott made the beloved series Five nights at Freddy's, He had originally made the christian animation series The Pilgrim's Progress. He also made his first game when he was a child and that game was called Doofas. Following after that when he was older he made more games including RPG Max, Sit N' Survive, And probably one of the most recognized game, Chipper and Sons Lumber co. This game was also his inspiration to make the franchise we all know and love today FNAF. During the first games development Scott had a nightmare were he was trapped in his house with Bonnie leaving him no way to escape, Scott had wanted to incorporate something similar to this in the game because of the dread of having no way to escape was very nerve racking. This nightmare also influenced the game and its mechanics FNAF 4. People since then have been inspired by this incredible franchise to make their own games. Now that I've got you all caught up lets talk about what I'm going to do, in the FNAF movie instead of using CGI for Freddy and the gang they built and used real walking animatronics. And that is what I plan on doing, (except for the walking part :[ ) But even with that in mind there are still other things to consider. What tools will you need?, what kind of materials will you use?, Which one should you build?, how long will it take to build it? Well I'm here to explain all that just keep in mind, Fazbear entertainment isn't responsible for damage to property or person. Reference :]

Building the Shell
The first step to building your faz-franchisee animatronic is the shell. The shell will be the base and structure that holds everything together. The way to build the shell and to make sure it will not collapse under its own weight you will want to build it in the form of rings. As you go up the body, make the circles smaller from one another to get the body shape right. Now, let's move on to the arms and legs. When doing these parts you will do similar rings to the body just smaller and make sure on where the arm/leg starts that both rings are the same size or one half of the limb with be larger than the other. The second part to this is making cardboard strips that will hold the rings on each side together. The length of the strips will vary depending how tall or short your animatronics endoskeleton is. Another thing to keep in mind is that the tape doesn't need to be perfect since it is going to be covered up anyway. It is also optional to glue the limbs instead of using tape but is recommended for the best stability. Finally test everything and make sure it all goes on as planned, adjustments may be needed. One last thing to add is that depending on how big your animatronics endoskeleton is you may need to add some wedges in between the cardboard strips to make them more firm and tight as seen in the images.
Adding Velcro Straps
Now we can move on to phase 2, velcro straps. The first step to step 2 "that's funny:]" is cutting. Where we placed the tape previously is where you are going to cut, it's okay to cut the tape because it was just a place holder until it was ready for velcro. Once both rings are cut we can add the Velcro. What you're going to do is get the fuzzy side of the velcro and glue that on one side of the inner ring doesn't matter which side. Then you will get the more firm side and make sure it is longer than the fuzzy side because this will be the strap that holds the rings together and glue that on the other side. Finally, test to see if you need to adjust the length of the strap and if all is good, only FIVE more steps to go! FNAF reference >:]
Freddy's Microphone, Bowtie, and Other Parts
Hey hey, you made it to step 3 congrats. I'm on a roll with these cringe references. Now that you have finished gluing velcro onto the limbs we can now move on to Freddy's head, feet, eyebrows nose, hands, hat, teeth, shoulder/knee pads, bowtie, ears, and microphone. to build these parts we will do a similar structure to the body and limbs. For the head you will first start by making one big strip, this will start the top half of the head. Then cut long strips that will get the overall curvature of the head. Then you will cut slightly smaller strips that you will glue on the front of the head, this will form Freddy's snout. Think of it as a big cage. After that you will cut a large piece of cardboard but not too big that will form the jaw. To help with getting the jaw shape right you will cut out siding pieces that you will wrap the large cardboard piece around. After doing that you can either glue the head and jaw together or (recommended) wait to put fabric on then glue. Now we can build the hands. To do this, you will basically just use the same method we've been using with the whole thing just this time using the strips to encase the already existing hands. Or to save time you can just use brown gloves and stuff them with cotton. Or better yet, just use black gloves and put brown fabric over them. The feet will be the same idea that was with the hands minus the glove part. With the hat and microphone you will build these similar to building cubes, just make all the sides and glue them together. For the microphone use that ball and cut it in half to form the upper part of the mic. Also use cereal box cardboard for the microphone so it will be easier to taper. Note that they will NOT look like cubes this was just an analogy. For the rounded part of the microphone use a half cut ball to form that shape. This part is optional but if you want the microphone to be detachable, use some Velcro and stick it to one side of the handle so later when the hand is done put Velcro on it so it can stick. Then for the shoulder/knee pads you will just cut out rounded diamond shapes. For the eyebrows you will cut one layer of the shape on a piece of cardboard for each side. For the ears you will cut out the shape 4 times on each side and glue them together. The pieces that connect the ears to the head will only be 2 layers. And finally the teeth and nose will be the most simple thing to build because all you have to do is get a couple layers (2) of cardboard and glue them together, and make sure the back teeth's bottoms are a little bit slanted so they'll sit on that awkward angle better. now they're done until it's time to paint.
Adding Fur
This step is probably going to be the most easy but time consuming task. To glue the fabric onto the limbs and body you will use the fabric adhesive glue, make sure to spread the glue out and not just in straight lines for maximum strength. You do not have to worry about any of the wrinkles because sewing pins are going to be your best friend. Pull how ever tight you want it then slide in one of those pins and put glue in that area (not on pin) For the limbs you will glue them on a separate piece of fabric and then place something heavy on it to dry over night. Note that when you're cutting out the eye holes that they line up with the internal l.e.d. eyes. Don't forget about the EARS! And with that you're on to the most exciting step, Painting! >:]
Painting Parts
Now that all of the fabric is on, it's pretty much down hill from here. This is where the respirator would come in but that's only if you're working indoors with the spray paint. For the ears specifically the part that connects them to the head is where you're going to use the silver paint. For the hat and microphone, you will paint them all black except for the top of the microphone. Cover the rounded part with scotch tape and then after the black paint has dried, put scotch tape over black and paint the top silver. The teeth will be painted white and make sure you paint BOTH sides. The eyes will be done in a similar fashion to the microphone. Cover the top part of the eye but make sure you leave some of the blue showing because that is what will be painted white. For the eyebrows and nose, they will both be painted black, So will the boetie. To get the little dots on his face, use a black paint marker and do 3 dots on each side, And with a further ado were on the second to last step.
Gluing Parts
You know, I honestly did not plan this ahead of time but it's pretty crazy that the last step to building Freddy landed on 6 because this is when the original FNAF game series ended so this is quite interesting. Besides that, we can finally put all of those straggler pieces onto the body. And of course you know the drill, put the ears on each side of Freddy's head and you might have to add more supports to get a better connection with the ears. attach all of the shoulder/knee pads where they're supposed to go, Boetie, Hat, microphone, etc... etc... Also don't forget to adjust everything specifically the legs because in those previous pictures the legs and arms are a little messed up so Don't FORGET!
Make Him Sing!
Alright, after long last, you are finished with your home made, money making, entertainment franchisee animatronic! Now all that is left to do is to make him sing and make children happy. also as a bonus for doing such a marvelous job, Fazbear entertainment will be giving you our complimentary exotic butters gift basket. Oh and that's not all, we will also be having Freddy Fazbear himself sing you the best happy birthday song that your ears will ever come across."Hey Freddy!" "Yo" "What would you say to singing a little song to our newest employee?" "No" "Huh? why not." "I don't wanna." "But Freddy, it's their birthday." "What?! then why didn't you say so!" "That's the spirit." "Okay, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3!, "Happy Fazbear Birthday! Pizza, games and cakes! Open all your presents, until your tummy aches! You are one year older, on your special day! And when this song is over, you'll be on your way! And don't worry because maybe, just maybe I might put more projects on instructable but the only thing I can say for sure is, I always come back. :] A thing I just wanted to make clear was that the reason the floor looks weird is because my house is getting remodeled so some of the floor had to go and what was under it was those weird looking tiles and boards. I wanted to say this just so people don't think my family and I are weird and broke because we are NOT! :]
Overtime Bonus
The Fazbear team will also give you a little tip for your upcoming night shift. The animatronics at that new establishment have a new mobile feature that allows them to move around and interact with guest, this is good for them but not so great for you. Because along with that they also have a database that lets them recognize specific people. So when there's no one in the room they'll start to look for where all the guests/employees are. And eventually they'll end up in your office. Since you're there after hours they might not recognize you as an employee and instead as an intruder. So, to counter this just take the head off good ol Freddy and whenever they walk into your office just put the head on and they should leave you alone. But if something does go wrong, Fazbear entertainment isn't responsible for damage to property or person. Good luck.
