Freddy Bear Mask

Decidimos hacer una máscara de cinco noches en freddy's, específicamente el oso freddy para Halloween, para esto tratamos de encontrar materiales baratos y asequibles para que cualquiera pueda hacerlo, es fácil y muy divertido de hacer, esperamos que se animen a hacerlo.

Supplies

  • cartón
  • tijeras
  • escalpelo
  • regla
  • lápiz
  • corriente de aire
  • pistola de pegamento
  • silicona
  • Cinta adhesiva escocesa
  • foami rojo
  • foami negro
  • foami amarillo claro
  • espuma blanca
  • tejido texturizado marrón
  • palos de pincho
  • tejido negro con transparencia

On a piece of cardboard draw the figure of the face as shown in the image, take into account the size of the head of the person who is going to use the mask, do not forget to make the eyes of a considerable size, the muzzle and the cheeks of freddy bear.

Cut out with a scalpel or scissors the contour of the face and the eye socket of the freddy bear.

Copy the outline of the face and cut out to create the back of the head, also draw an ear, cut it out and copy it 3 times, in such a way that we get 4 figures with equal ears.

Cut out the part of the muzzle.

Cut cardboard strips to join all the parts of the face of the freddy bear, for the contour of the face you need a strip of approximately 18cm * 60cm, for the muzzle a strip of 6cm * 30cm and for the ears a cardboard strip of 3cm * 50cm.

Join with adhesive tape the cardboard strip of 18cm * 60cm with the two parts of the contour of the face, secure the joints with silicone on the inside, at the end cut off the excess of the cardboard strip.

Join the 6cm * 30cm cardboard strip with the snout part with adhesive tape, secure with silicone on the inside, at the end cut the excess of the cardboard strip.

Tape the muzzle to the freddy bear's face, secure it on the inside with silicone.

Join with adhesive tape the cardboard strip of 3 cm * 30 cm with the two parts of the ear, secure the joints with silicone on the inside, at the end cut the excess of the cardboard strip.


Repeat the process to make the two ears.

Cut out the parts to make the Freddy bear hat, a small circle with a diameter of 8cm, a larger circle with a diameter of 12cm and a cardboard strip of approximately 7cm * 25cm.

Attach the 7cm * 25cm cardboard strip to the small 8cm diameter circle with adhesive tape, secure with silicone on the inside, at the end cut the excess of the cardboard strip.

Cut out pieces equal to those of the hat as done in step 10, in the foam red color to cover the hat of the freddy bear.

Glue the red foam parts to the freddy bear's hat with silicone.

Cut a C-shaped cardboard and a 6cm * 60cm cardboard strip as shown in the figure to make the jaw of our mask.


Join with adhesive tape the two parts of the jaw as shown in the previous image, secure with silicone on the inside of the joint.

Cut out pieces of brown fabric to cover the entire face, jaw and ears that we built in the previous steps, then glue them with silicone to each of the parts of our mask.

Glue pieces of black foam to the inside of the jaw to cover any visible cardboard.

Cut out the nose, the eyebrows, the line of the muzzle and some small freckles in black foam to give our mask personality.

 

Glue these elements with silicone on our mask as shown in the image

Cut out 6 small teeth with white foam


Stick them with silicone on the jaw of our mask

Cut out two cardboard strips and glue them with silicone on each side of the jaw, these will serve to join the jaw with the face of our mask.


When joining the jaw with the face make sure to leave a small space in the middle to simulate that the mouth of the freddy bear is open.

Open two holes at the bottom of the hat and a hole for each of the ears, then glue small skewer sticks with silicone in these holes, these will serve to join the ears and the hat to our mask.


Open the same holes in the upper part of our mask and one with the skewer sticks the ears and the hat of the freddy bear, cut the excess.

Cut out a piece of black / transparent fabric that allows you to see through it, to cover the eyes of our mask.

 


Glue the piece of cloth remembered with silicone on the inside covering the eyes of the mask, make sure that this cloth allows you to have a vision of what is happening on the outside.

Cut out two pieces of foam in the shape of smaller ears and glue them with silicone over the ears of the mask to simulate the inner part of the ears.
