Old Roll Up Piano

image.jpeg
Take an old roll up piano that doesn't work anymore and dismantle it.

The Inner Matrix

Separate the inner matrix from the keys. It was easy to pull apart for me.

The Keys

Cut out the keys to the specifications of the frame that you have. I used regular scissors.

Finished Cut Out

Now you have a finished cut out of keys.

Background

Place the keys on a background. I used cardboard but you can use anything you desire. Make sure to fill in the extra space with leftover black parts of the roll up piano or anything or color you desire.

The Frame

image.jpeg
You can use an old frame or buy a new frame.

Putting It All Together

image.jpeg
Put the glass in the frame. Next put the keys with the background in the frame. Being careful not to let anything shift or move around while placing in the frame. Secure the back panel on the frame.

Finished Product

Now your project is done. Hang it on your wall. The scene will look better if you make two and hang them together on your wall.
