Propane forges off the internet are expensive, for this project it will be under $100 to build. I am a blade smith and this seems to work fine for my needs.

Supplies

1. Coffee can
2. K wool
3. Knife
4. Face covering (k wool can be harmful to lungs while cutting)
5. Drill and bit
6. Map pro gas
7. Turbo torch

Get Working

Measure the wool accordingly to size of the can, when you are there cut it. Fit the wool inside the can, cut a small piece that will fit the diameter of the wool inside the can, then push it to the back of the can.

Drilling

Use the hand drill to drill a hole in the can and wool. About 1/4 the way down the can.

Assembling the Torch

Use your gas and torch for this step. Screw the torch onto the tank of gas.
