Forest Landscape With Crayon's Shade Technique

If you are like me and are not good at coloring or drawing but want to share your masterpiece with the world, then you have come to the right place. In today's Instructables, I will show you how to create your masterpiece without any special skills. When your masterpiece is finished, frame it and hang it in your living room.


Supplies

For supplies you require -

  • Of course Crayons or oil pastels, both are fine
  • Normal drawing paper or you can use canvas for better results
  • Pencil
  • Tissue paper
  • Cotton bud

Start With Initial Lines

  • For this step take a drawing paper or canvas and start by making light lines with crayons as shown in the above images. image 2.
  • For this step you just require two shades brown and yellow.

The Shadeing Part

  • Now similarly you have to fill all colors as shown above in the image.
  • For this step you need brown, orange, sap green, yellow, and black shades.
  • Now take a tissue paper and wipe extra crayons from the sheet. you can do this step with your fingers as well.
  • Once the colors are spread throughout take black crayons and make light shades with it.

Initial Detailing

  • Next, take a brown crayon and draw several lines these lines represent trees.
  • Once done, take a black crayon and make shades near brown crayons.
  • Now take a pencil and draw the stems of the trees.
  • Add more depth by shading with dark crayons such as black and brown near the edges.

  • Now for the light take a white crayon and make horizontal lines on the trees.
  • For example if you combine green and yellow, brown and orange, yellow and orange, black and brown then your results will improve immensely.
  • Also if you combine bright colors with dark colors this will give you painting a more real look for instance, yellow with dark green.
