Ford S-Max 2007, Mondeo MK4, Galaxy 2007 - Bonnet Opener Repair - DIY

Repair of bonnet opener at home with basic tools on my Ford S-Max 2007. The bonnet after openning cannot be closed back. The original cable was rusty and stucked in the bowden. The same system is probably also in the Ford Galaxy, Ford Mondeo MK4 etc. Hood lock repair. Engine door lock repair.

Supplies:

- stainless stell cable diamater 1,5 - 1,7mm, length more that 2m (2,1m)

- cable ends - I made them from brass nut and furniture screw - bolts for cable ends holding

- some kind of cleaner because the bonnet lock is greasy, rusty and dirty - grease - basic tools
