As an avid tabletop gamer and game master I have the need for space management. One of my favorite accessory to tabletop gaming is the dice tower. My issue was the dice towers (in my price range) would not fit my storage area. Then I realized boxes fold flat and can be entirely customized, that began my journey. I found a square and long box cut the bottom to make a slide for the dice and painted it black, it was quickly made and I didn't think it completely through before implementation. Then I found another box and made the tiny version, with more experience knowing what not to cut. Then I made a third from yet another box. Here is how I did it.

Measure Sidewall - Example: 2"
Multiply Sidewall Measurement by 1.5 - Example 2 x 1.5 = 3
Measure and Mark the Cut Locations using your pen, pencil, or marker
Example: 0.5" up from bottom (for none cutting area) and 3" up from the none cutting area, then across
The reason for the none cutting area is so that the ledge doesn't fall off.
Be Careful and Cut Along Your Marks
Cut along your measured line
Example: Be careful, I used a steak knife to cut with

Step3: Finish it
Fold it in and there you have it a foldable dice tower fit for any tabletop game. Now from here you can get creative with paint and make it your own.
Or cover it with duct tape, or stickers, or draw on it, whatever you do make it your own.
Troubleshooting

If your tower seems top heavy, add a Weight in the bottom. Not all towers need this but it does help keep it stationary. Thankfully there are options you have with you or can easily add to your gaming gear.
Examples:
A rock (mine was given to me by my daughter and says Happy Fathers Day)
A flat piece of metal (from electrician friend of mine)
Bunch of spare change (who doesn't have any)
Some of the dice you rarely use (but carry with you anyway, like I do)
