Foami Roof Tiles

This is a really simple and unexpensive way to make roof tiles. For this we will use red foami and the following tools:
Supplies
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Plier
- Pencil
- Lighter
- Slim brush
- 2 metallic pipes (one with a bigger diameter than the other)
- And a blade knife
Wide and Lenght

For this particular roof tile model i will use stripes of roughly 1 cm (wide) aproximately and the lenght will be determined by the metallic pipe we will use to give shape to the material.
Material Process Part 1

In the first place we put the foami over the smaller pipe and introduce it both inside the bigger pipe leaving a piece outside to pull it out later. And with the pliers we grab the whole piece to be able to heat it up a few seconds, we must avoid long or direct exposure to fire, otherwise our foami could melt (be carefull !).
Material Process Part 2

Insert the brush (meanwhile the pipe is still warm) and press a little bit down to get the desired curvature. Remove the brush and the inner pipe, after that also retrieve the foami piece and notice the curvature in it.
Measuring and Spliting the Tiles

On this step we take the ruler and made a mark at 1.5 cm over the foami stripe. With the scissors we split the segments.
Final Product

And this is the final product. We can use it to build our miniature roof ceilings, we can add paint or wear signs to give a more accurate result to the tiles.
