Flying Mini Drone

Untitled design (7).png

In this Intractable, I'll demonstrate how to make a Mini drone for your high school project.

I used Autodesk Fusion 360 to create this drone frame. Although there are many different types of drones, I only make a flying tiny drone for this tutorial.

I'm currently enrolled in Gujarat's Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT), an Indian high school.

There are basic materials required for make this.

1) Sun Board sheet

2) 3.7 volt DC Motor

3) Four Pen

4) Drone controller and Transmitter

5) 3.7 volt li-po battery

6) Four Propellers

7) Pen, Scale, Cutter

You can see 3d design of drone as per .stl file. You can also print 3d parts using this design. I make drone frame manually

Use Sun-Board Sheet to Create

If you don't have a 3D printer, you can manually construct a drone frame out of sunboard sheet.

Sun-board, sometimes known as foam board, is an extremely sturdy, lightweight, and easily cut sheet material used for painting, framing, and attaching vinyl prints. It typically consists of three layers, with a polystyrene foam inner layer and white clay-coated paper on the outer.

So, using a sun-board sheet, cut a 13 cm diameter circle out of it. The circle was then divided into equal four sections using a pen and a scale. Then, as shown in the illustration, draw a 15 cm-diameter circle at each line intersection. then use scale to create four wings as seen in the image.

The drone's plan is now complete.

Cutting

Now carefully cut the plan's outer border with a cutting blade. Cutting with a cutter is simple and effortless. After that, take out the cutting portion to reveal a fully finished drone frame.

Dc Motor Case

Next, grab four pens and pull the pen out of the pen cap. Take a pen cap, cut the pen holder, and create a wire-outhole. Prepare the four pen caps as shown.

Put Dc Motor

Drill four holes for pen caps at the corners of each drone frame. then take the drone frame and the pen cap. Through the drone frame's holes, insert each pen cap.

Take Four micro dc motors are 3.7 volts each. There are Two different dc motor types exist. Two DC motors rotate anticlockwise, and the other two rotate clockwise. One at a time, insert two clockwise DC motors into the pen cape's opposing holes. then extract the wire from the holes after inserting two dc motors anticlockwise through the pen cape at opposing holes.

Receiver

Next, place the drone controller receiver in the middle of the frame. Put a sonboard sheet on the receiver like in the last picture.

Then connect the receiver to each DC motor as shown in the diagram. In the bottom of the drone frame, places a 3.7 volt lithium-ion battery. Take four propellers after that. The propeller comes in two varieties. A1 and A2 are two propellers, while B1 and B2 are two propellers. Attach B1 B2 propellers to anticlockwise dc motors and A1 A2 propellers to clockwise motors. Drone is now prepared for flight. Take this receiver's transmitter and make it fly.

Enjoy your drone flight. Making this drone with 3D printed components is also an option. Using Autodesk Fusion 360, you can also redesign 3D components.e
