Flower Tower

This tower is made with a big plastic flowerpot and nine smaller ones. The pole is a broomstick and supported by concrete. It makes the tower heavy enough to resist harsh wind. Mine contains a few herbs and in the lower pots some beautiful flowers.

You need a wooden broomstick (a wooden slat will be good too), a big and some smaller plastic flowerpots(I used nine), some cable ties (the bigger ones)and concrete.

A cordless screwdriver and a drill matching your cable ties.

At first you have to drill holes in the stick and all small Pots.

Mix the concrete and fill the big pot with it. Place the broomstick in the middle and let it harden for 24 hours.

To hold the stick upright use some tape and attach it to a chair or a table.

Now it´s time to attach the small pots. Use the cable ties to mount them around the broomstick.

Melt the ends a little bit with a lighter to make sure they can´t open accidently.
