Flower Hangers

Little details are what make a party special. When decorating for a special occasion, flowers add an elegant and nice touch. They don't have to be expensive, you could even make a bouquet out of wild flowers for your guests to enjoy.

Today I'll show you how to make this flower hangers with mason jars. This way your flowers will stay fresh even if your event lasts many hours.

Gather Your Materials

Mason jar

Wire

Pliers

Scissors

Floral clippers

Rope

Bend the Wire

Cut a long piece of wire, twice the perimeter of the mason jar.
Make a loop 5cms from one edge of the wire. Twist the loop as shown in the picture.

Wrap the wire around the mason jar. On the opposite side make another loop and twist it too.

Try to make them the same size.

Cut the Excess.

Join the edges and twist them together. Cut the excess of wire. Fold and tuck where the two edges meet as shown in the picture.

Attach the Rope

Thread the rope though each loop of wire and make a knot.

Make a Bouquet

Remove the leaves that are at the bottom of the stem.

Trim the stems according to the size of the mason jar. Place in water immediately.

Now you can hang the flowers from a chair. Just make sure they have enough water and they'll stay fresh and beautiful for many hours.
