If you decide to use a skewer, or that's all you have around your house like me, you will need to go through this step.

  1. Go to the pointed side of the skewer and cut it off
  2. Keep cutting until you have at least 8 skewers done, you may need to get more later

Putting Together the Frame

  1. Put two sticks side by side, with a gap in the middle
  2. Stack two on top of those two with a bit left on the corners for the string/rubber bands as shown in Figure A
  3. Stack one more layer on top as shown in Figure B
  4. Wrap string or rubber-bands around the corners of the frame (You may need someone to help or use tape for this step) As shown in Figure C
  5. After these steps there should be a gap between two sticks on all sides as shown in Figure D
  6. Now it's time to finish the frame
  7. Cut the sticks into sizes that will fit into a corner of the frame from small to large and fit them on the front and back with hot glue. Make sure there is a space in between the two sides for flowers. As shown in Figure E

Flowers and String

You will need the flowers of your choice to be able to fit into the gap in-between the frame from the last step

  1. Put the ones you want in the background first then the other ones in the front (If you'd like you can cut off the stem of a flower and hot glue it onto the very front, on the other flower stems if they'll hold, or on the frame)
  2. Tie a piece of string on the top of the frame by double knotting then tie off the end so you can hang it anywhere you like.
