Hi everyone!

In this instructable I would like to share with you how to make a floral crown.

I paint flowers so they will not die.” – Frida Kahlo

INSPIRATION

I want to focus on Frida Kahlo’s unique style. She made her hair her most colorful accessory by adorning her looks with brightly colored flowers and head wraps.

SUPPLIES

IMG_0046.JPG
  • Simple headbands
  • A bundle of fake flowers
  • Felt or another fabric
  • Wire Cutters
  • Glue gun
  • Glue sticks for the glue gun

CUT FLOWERS FROM STEAM

Use your wire cutters to cut the stems off.

FORTIFY YOUR FLOWERS

Often, elements can collapse after they have been separated, so flowers need to be glued well with a glue gun.

BUILD THE BASE

Cut out 20cmx2cm piece from felt for base, and glue it on the inside of the handband.

This will give the glue something to grab onto.

ATTACH FLOWERS

Now you can directly glue to the base.

Start by gluing the larger flowers in the middle of the headband first and work your way out.

All you do is add flowers until your crown feels finished!

HAVE FUN!
