Instructions to create your own floating Thames BBQ for enjoyment at all tide levels, mostly from found objects.

Supplies

·       Plastic bottles, roughly 14 of

·       Rope, 10 metres of

·       Tin foil tray

·       Oven grid

·       Instant light charcoal

·       MDF, 50 x 30cm

·       Duct tape

·       Super Glue

Assembly Instructions:

Step one, use the duct tape to bind together the 14 bottles in a traditional raft formation, two rows of seven bottles. Next drill six holes evenly spaced one in each corner and two half way along the long side of the MDF board, these will be used to attach the rope to the board. Thirdly, place the board on top of the bottle raft and using the rope through the drill holes to tie the board onto the bottles beneath. Now the raft structure is complete, take the tin foil tray and using the super glue attach to the MDF board. The coals can now be placed within the tin tray and the oven grid on top of this. The BBQ is now ready to be cooked on. You may tie a longer piece of rope to one of the holes on the MDF to use to lower and pull the BBQ back to shore. The final step is to light the BBQ and place onto the Thames to enjoy at all tide times.
