Floating Shelf for TV
This all idea started when i installed my flat screen TV on the wall.
I need a solution to put my TV Box and Wii also attached to the wall, a simple shelf will do the trick but i didn't want to drill holes in the wall again because this necessity can change in the future and i don't want to patch this holes.
In this project i show my solution for this problem.

Gather the Material
You will need for this project:
- Wall Shelf
- Plastic Spacers
- Aluminium Bar
- The Original Screws From The TV Base Stand
- Two Rubber Feet
- Wood Screws
Get Started
Take the aluminium bar and cut in two making the same height and length as the existing mount bracket of the TV base stand.
Drill two holes on the aluminium bar so you can screw this to back of the TV using the original screws from the base stand.
On the shelf make four holes on the back allowing to set the aluminium bar, in my case i had to make a cut so the mount bracket will be straight to the wall an the TV.
Grab the plastic spacers and screw to the shelf allowing to be apart from the wall and also straight, place some rubber feet so doesn't scratch the wall, and it's done.
Final Thoughts
This small hack allows you to have your TV Box, DVD, Game Console, etc on the wall without making more holes, the shelf will be floating in the air attach to the tv stand mount and can support the height that you put on it.
