Flamingo. Press Fit Kit Laser Cut

Flamingo kit for laser cutting in 4mm MDF. I share the DXF files, but also the SVG files in case someone wants to customize them or use them in a vinyl cutter, or some other invention. It's just a matter of imagining it and doing it.

This beautiful flamingo can be an ideal gift or simply a decorative item that, after cutting, you can decorate to your liking. Even the little ones will have fun assembling it.

You will only need two 4mm MDF sheets and a laser cutter, better if it is fiber optic.

This kit is ready to print, but if you want to know how to do it, I'll tell you how. First you have to draw your pieces on paper or with a digital application like Inkscape.

If you have done them in pencil, scan them, and with an image processing program convert them to silhouettes. I used Gimp.

Then with SVG software you transform them into vectors and accommodate them in the cutting plane. You can use Inkscape.

Now all you have to do is convert the files generated in SVG to DXF and they will be ready to use with the laser cutter. You can use miconv.com

All the programs and the recommended website are open source. All you have to do is enjoy your new project.
